George Koukouzelis
Chairman
In addition to his chairmanship of Grace Hotels, George Koukouzelis is the Chief Executive Officer of the group's parent company, First Mediterranean Investments. George provides Grace Hotels with strategic counsel regarding its international expansion plans.
Over the course of 15 years George has acquired extensive experience in private equity, venture capital, buy-outs, mergers and acquisitions, green-field investments, structured finance and project financing across the Balkan and Mediterranean region. George was previously an Investment Director of NBGI Private Equity, a member of the National Bank of Greece Group - the largest financial institution in south-eastern Europe.
As CEO of FMI George has presided over the creation of a diverse investment group, identifying investment targets and creating specialist autonomous companies to exploit niche market opportunities, of which Grace Hotels is one.
